Vietnam's Quang Ngai province is in active talks the Vietnam Steel Corporation to establish major steel production capacity in the Dung Quat Economic Zone. The initiative targets the region's growing infrastructure-driven steel demand & aims to reduce costly imports from China & Brazil. With Vietnam consuming around twenty-two million metric tons of steel annually & a sixty-billion-dollar infrastructure programme underway, the cooperation could transform central Vietnam into a significant industrial hub serving both domestic & regional markets.
