JSL & OREL have commissioned 216 MW of a 315.6 MW hybrid solar-wind project in Madhya Pradesh. The $211 million initiative will reduce JSL’s carbon emissions by 650,000 metric tons annually. Bifacial solar modules with trackers are combined with advanced wind turbines in a co-located design. The remaining 99.5 MW capacity in Gujarat will follow shortly.
