Stegra began constructing a 75,000 m² logistics hub at Port of Luleå to supply the forthcoming green steel complex at Boden. The site will stage scrap, pellets, hot briquetted iron & by products under a data rich, rail linked system. Port CEO Anders Dahl called the ground breaking a milestone toward regional industrial transition. Rail expansion, digital coordination & low emission handling aim to cut delays & indirectly trim CO₂ across northern Sweden’s steel value chain.
