JSW Steel & POSCO Group have signed a Heads of Agreement to explore building a 6 million tonnes per annum integrated steel plant in India. The proposed 50:50 joint venture combines JSW's domestic expertise alongside POSCO's advanced technology. Odisha is being considered as the potential location for this facility. The partnership aligns alongside India's self-reliance goals & export ambitions, requiring detailed feasibility studies before final terms are determined.
