Chilean steel producer Aceros AZA recycled over 370,000 metric tons of ferrous scrap during the first half of 2025, using this material to produce steel for major infrastructure projects. The company achieved recognition as the third-lowest carbon footprint steel producer globally by worldsteel. Their recycled steel is used in prestigious projects including Santiago's Metro Line 7, the Chacao Bridge, & hospital construction throughout Chile.
