Saarstahl Aktiengesellschaft has announced the acquisition of FNsteel B.V., a Dutch manufacturer specializing in high-quality cold-forging steel for automotive & construction industries. The strategic combination consolidates Saarstahl's competitive positioning within the cold heading steel sector whilst integrating FNsteel's state-of-the-art production facilities & technical expertise. The deal, expected to close by year-end 2025 subject to antitrust approval, combines more than 85 years of manufacturing experience, positioning the merged entity as a formidable competitor within European specialized steel markets.
