ArcelorMittal expanded its Vega steel mill in São Francisco do Sul, Brazil, increasing capacity to 2.2 million metric tons annually. Using PENETRON ADMIX SB, a crystalline waterproofing admixture, concrete structures were protected from groundwater infiltration. The project supports production of specialized flat steel & corrosion-resistant products like Magnelis, showing how engineering innovation & material science combine to build resilient infrastructure.
