The 1,070-metric-ton apparatus stands 73 meters tall, handles 2,300 metric tons hourly, & processes vessels three times faster than previous equipment. Full electrification eliminates direct combustion emissions, energy recuperation systems capture braking energy, & automated operations optimize workflow efficiency. The installation strengthens ArcelorMittal's raw material supply chains, enhances Rhenus's competitive positioning, & reduces environmental impacts including acoustic pollution affecting surrounding communities.
