Tosyalı Algérie achieved a world record in direct reduced iron production during 2025. The company's Module 2 facility produced 2.43 million metric tons in its first operational year. The MIDREX plant can operate on natural gas or hydrogen while producing both hot and cold direct reduced iron, positioning Algeria as a major steel exporter.
