Tata Steel's Jamshedpur CSP plant completed a major modernization project led by SMS group. The upgrade included a new F7 finishing stand and complete automation system renewal. The facility now produces thinner steel strips down to one millimeter thickness. The successful ramp-up achieved fourteen cobble-free coils from day one of operation.
