Stegra has secured €1.4 billion in new financing to complete its green steel plant in Boden, Sweden. The round is led by Wallenberg Investments, alongside Temasek & IMAS, giving Stegra a fully funded path to construction completion. Existing investors Altor, Hy24, & Just Climate continue their support. The deal is expected to close in June 2026, after which Leif Johansson will become the new Chair of the Board.
