Ukrainian pipe maker Interpipe closed the deal to buy ArcelorMittal’s plant in Roman, Romania. The acquisition received antitrust & investment approvals from both nations. CEO Luca Zanotti called it a historic step, giving Interpipe its first EU production base. The plant makes seamless steel pipes for energy & construction. Interpipe will ensure smooth transition for workers & customers.
