Mardyck's Momentous Milestone: Magnetic Metal's Magnificent March

ArcelorMittal rolls its first coil at the new Mardyck electrical steel facility in northern France, launching a ramp-up phase for its $500 million investment. The plant will produce advanced non-grain-oriented electrical steel for electric vehicle motors & wind turbines. Combined the Saint-Chély-d'Apcher site, ArcelorMittal's French operations will reach 295,000 metric tons of annual capacity, tripling its European electrical steel output & strengthening the continent's energy transition supply chain.
