How much steel is used in Chenab bridge?
AMNS claims they have supplied 25000 tons. SAIL claims they have supplied 16000 tons. JSPL without mentioning quantity has said their plates and head hardened rails are part of Chenab Bridge.
I am wondering if JSW, Tata Steel and others have not supplied anything to this project.
Total steel (25+16+++) should be atleast approx 45000 tons. However the project guys (also as per Chatgpt) informed total steel used is 29-30 kt.
