GravitHy’s Green Gamble Galvanises Gallic Growth
GravitHy has signed a key land deal at Fos-sur-Mer to build a €2.2 billion hydrogen-powered steel plant, aiming for operations by 2029. The project plans to cut CO₂ emissions by up to 90% using a 750 MW electrolyser, producing up to 2 million metric tons of low-carbon iron annually. Supported by investors like Rio Tinto & Siemens Financial Services, it marks a bold step in Europe’s shift toward greener, resilient steelmaking.
