Aza Aceros, in collaboration with Molycop, will recycle used grinding balls from mining operations in Chile. This new effort reinforces both companies’ commitment to circular economy principles. By processing worn metal into reusable steel, they reduce reliance on virgin raw materials, cut production costs, and lower CO₂ emissions. The project highlights Chile’s growing leadership in sustainable industrial practices and offers a model for the wider Latin American region.
