ABB has won the contract to power SSAB's new fossil-free steel mill in Luleå, Sweden. The company will design and install the main electrical infrastructure for the facility. This project is a key part of Sweden's plan to cut its carbon emissions. The new mill is expected to reduce the country's total CO₂ emissions by 7% when it starts production at the end of 2029.
