Vale: Cultural Confluence's Captivating Crescendo

Vale sponsors traditional Tambor de Crioula "Prazer de São Benedito" from Maranhão to perform at São Paulo Biennial. The 50-member group founded in 1980 preserves Afro-Brazilian heritage through dance, music, and devotional practices. They will perform September 7 at Varanda Biennial stage as part of Vale's cultural democratization strategy. The invitation represents historic recognition for Maranhão's popular culture on prestigious contemporary art platform. The group maintains authentic traditions while engaging youth through educational programming and community cultural transmission.
