SSAB has elevated Tom Cox to Head of SSAB Americas & Group Executive Committee member, effective February 1, 2026. The 24-year company veteran currently serves as General Manager of SSAB Iowa, where he has led teams to record achievements in safety, production & customer satisfaction. Cox holds metallurgical engineering & business administration degrees, bringing comprehensive value-chain expertise & leadership in fossil-free steel advancement to his new executive role succeeding retiring Chuck Schmitt.
