Tata Steel launched its first batch of galvanised coils from the new Continuous Galvanising Line at Kalinganagar facility in Odisha. The advanced facility features third-generation air-knife technology targeting automotive & appliance sectors. This milestone forms part of Tata Steel's ₹27,000 crore Phase II expansion, increasing site capacity to 8 million metric tons annually. The technology enables production of Advanced High Strength Steels meeting stringent automotive quality requirements for modern vehicle manufacturing.
