Poland sanctioned two of its own companies for bypassing EU sanctions on Russia. The firms, STEELTRADE and OMNI GRP, exported specialized steel used in defense manufacturing. They shipped the materials through countries like Kazakhstan and Hong Kong to hide the final destination in Russia. Polish authorities linked the companies' activities to support for Russia's military industry.
