Turkish conglomerate OYAK has taken full control of the İskenderun Iron & Steel Works. The company was previously a joint venture. The acquisition gives OYAK complete ownership of one of Turkey's largest steel producers. This move strengthens OYAK's position in the domestic steel market and streamlines management of its major industrial assets.
