Metallurgical Metamorphosis & Microstructural Marvels Unveiled

Canadian scientists at CNL tested a chromium, iron, manganese & nickel HEA under proton irradiation & heat. They found fewer defects than stainless steel & mapped elemental shifts using synchrotron X-rays. While still awaiting regulatory approval, the alloy could boost reactor lifespan & safety, helping nuclear energy play a bigger role in fighting climate change.
