Turkish steel producer Kardemir posted mixed H1 2025 results showing both improvement & deterioration across different metrics. The company reduced net losses by 90% to TRY 254.21 million ($6.2 million) from TRY 2.47 billion in H1 2024, while achieving 2.6% crude steel production growth to 1.24 million metric tons. However, revenues declined 8.6% to TRY 29.89 billion ($734.54 million) & operating performance shifted from TRY 342.37 million profit to TRY 400.82 million loss, reflecting challenging market conditions despite 17% sales volume increase.
