Ukrainian steel manufacturer Interpipe has delivered specialized micropiles for a critical railway bridge reconstruction in Slovakia's Poprad-Vydrnik corridor. The 108mm diameter pipes, made from S355J2 structural steel, solved complex soil conditions where traditional piles proved ineffective. This project represents Interpipe's growing European infrastructure presence, building on similar successes in France. The micropiles offer equivalent load-bearing capacity to conventional foundations while requiring significantly less ground preparation, demonstrating innovative engineering solutions for modern railway infrastructure challenges.
