BMW Industries invests ₹803 crore to build a 0.5 million metric tons cold rolling facility in Bokaro, Jharkhand. The expansion targets specialty steel production under government PLI scheme support. The facility will produce color-coated materials & advanced alloy products for infrastructure, automotive & renewable energy sectors. Production begins Q3 FY2026 for color-coated materials & Q1 FY2027 for advanced products. The investment increases total company capacity to 2.5 million metric tons annually.
