Champion Iron has formed a major partnership to develop its Kami iron-ore project in Canada. Japanese companies Nippon Steel and Sojitz have joined the venture, making an initial investment of $68.6 million. The project plans to produce high-grade iron ore for 25 years. This partnership aims to secure a long-term supply of premium ore for the global steel industry.
