thyssenkrupp Steel supplies one thousand metric tons of its CO₂-reduced bluemint® Steel for Angola's Quilonga Grande water pipeline project. The material is fabricated into large-diameter spiral-welded pipes at Mannesmann Grossrohr in Salzgitter, forming part of a one hundred five kilometre pipeline network. The project addresses Luanda's daily drinking water deficit of one point two million cubic metres, serving a city of ten million people currently dependent on tanker truck supplies.
