POSCO Steeleon has successfully integrated rooftop solar systems at its Pohang steel manufacturing facilities, generating 15% of daytime electricity needs. The installation reduces annual energy costs by $2.3 million while eliminating 8,500 metric tons of CO₂ emissions yearly.
