Tubao, a Spanish galvanized tube maker, has adopted ArcelorMittal's xCarb® recycled & renewably produced steel for its manufacturing operations. The xCarb® steel, made in electric arc furnaces using recycled scrap & renewable energy, cuts CO₂ emissions by around seventy-five percent per metric ton versus conventional steelmaking. This move gives Tubao verified environmental credentials to share across its supply chain. It signals that green steel is now accessible to mid-tier industrial manufacturers, not just large automotive firms.
