Stegra signs a rail freight agreement with Green Cargo, Sweden's largest state-owned freight operator, to connect its green steel plant in Boden to the ports of Luleå, Skellefteå, and Umeå. Green Cargo will transport raw materials in and finished steel products out, forming the backbone of Stegra's northern Swedish supply chain. The deal builds on earlier port agreements and positions rail as a key enabler of Sweden's green industrial transformation, combining low-carbon logistics with large-scale operational reliability.
