A new report finds the EU's carbon border tax will have little effect on Indian steel exports. The analysis by climate group Sandbag says India's steel production is already relatively low-carbon. This is because India uses a lot of electric arc furnaces that recycle scrap metal. The country's specific export mix to Europe also helps minimize the tax impact.
