A consortium including RWE and CO2GRAB is building a test plant at Lingen to produce green steel. A 100 MW electrolyzer will generate hydrogen for thyssenkrupp's Duisburg mill. The project aims to produce 50,000 metric tons of climate-neutral steel annually. Lower Saxony provided €3 million in funding.
