RHI Magnesita and Khemka Refractories are joining forces to build a refractory waste recycling plant in India. The facility will recover key raw materials like magnesia and alumina from spent industrial linings used in steel mills and cement plants. India produces hundreds of thousands of metric tons of refractory waste each year. This initiative supports India's circular economy goals and reduces dependence on imported raw materials, marking a significant step forward for industrial sustainability in one of the world's fastest-growing economies.
