Rayalaseema's Renaissance: JSW's Resolute & Revolutionary Steel Stratagem

JSW Steel commences work on a ₹16,350 crore (approximately $1.96 billion) steel plant in Andhra Pradesh's Rayalaseema region. The two-phase project, executed through subsidiary JSW Rayalaseema Steel Ltd., targets 2 million metric tons per annum capacity using Electric Arc Furnace technology. Phase 1 investment stands at ₹4,500 crore for 1 million metric tons per annum. The facility will produce low-carbon structural steel, supporting India's infrastructure growth while advancing JSW Steel's net-zero-by-2050 commitment.
