JFE Group commits ¥340 billion, approximately $2.3 billion, to Green Transformation investment as part of its Environmental Vision for 2050, targeting full carbon neutrality by 2050. The strategy spans carbon-recycling blast furnace technology, hydrogen direct reduction, & electric arc furnace expansion. JFE targets societal CO₂ savings of 25 million metric tons annually by 2030 through eco-products & engineering services. The group also accelerates its offshore wind business to support Japan's renewable energy transition.
