Greenland Resources signed a supply agreement for molybdenum to German steel industry leader Hempel Metallurgical GmbH. The deal positions Greenland Resources as Germany's largest molybdenum supplier. Germany consumed 16.3 million pounds of molybdenum in 2024 and plans major defense spending increases. The Malmbjerg project can meet 25% of EU molybdenum demand and 100% of defense needs. This partnership addresses European Union critical mineral security concerns while reducing dependency on Chinese suppliers.
