Generation Steel expanded its Collie green steel project to A$850 million with a new cut-and-bend facility. The plant will produce 450,000 metric tons of ultra-low-emission rebar annually. It will use 100% renewable energy and recycled scrap steel. Operations are expected to begin in 2028.
