The First Movers Coalition is a club of big companies that promise to buy clean versions of hard-to-make products such as steel, cement, aluminium, chemicals & fuels for planes, ships & trucks. It started in 2021 with 35 companies & now has more than 100, which together have made over 125 buying promises for 2030. Only companies that commit to purchase can join, which keeps the group focused on real orders rather than talk. Those orders give producers the confidence to build new green factories, helping the world move toward net zero by 2050.
