EUROMETAL organised a convoy of 15 trucks & 10 symbolic coffins through Brussels on 7 September. Over 200 industry representatives demanded fair competition & measures against carbon leakage. The delegation delivered a Call to Action to the European Commission but was met only by security staff. Industry leaders warned that without decisive action, European manufacturing faces irreversible decline.
