Australia awarded A$26 million to Element Zero for a low-emission iron pilot. The plant uses an electrochemical process without coal, operating at 400 to 450 degrees Celsius. It will process Pilbara ore, starting at one metric ton daily. The project aims to cut steel emissions and boost domestic value creation.
