Full design capacity is scheduled for early January, delivering 15% improvements in energy efficiency & productivity. The modernization enables complete self-sufficiency in steel smelting for ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg, eliminating external semi-finished product dependencies. Vacuum degassing capabilities enable ultra-clean steel production for premium applications, expanding addressable markets & supporting competitive differentiation in European long products markets.
