The organisation says climate change driven by corporate greed and political failure is threatening people's rights to life, health, food, and water. Heatwaves are currently scorching the US, Europe, and the Middle East. Amnesty calls for a full phase-out of fossil fuels and for polluters to pay for the damage they have caused.
