The initiative targets 40% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2030 compared to 2015 levels. Chalibria achieves production emissions of 0.57 metric ton CO₂ per metric ton finished steel, offset by verified carbon credits. The company invested in 4 megawatt photovoltaic installations in Sicily & partnered alongside Alperia for renewable energy.
