JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Ltd has brought online its ambitious 5 metric tons per annum Hot Strip Mill and related units at Vijayanagar, with a second converter expected in fiscal year 2026. The Odisha slurry pipeline and Dolvi expansion aim for completion by fiscal year 2027, while downstream facilities at Khopoli and Vijayanagar will boost advanced high-strength and electrical steel production. The company invested $3400 crore in Q1 fiscal year 2026 and targets around $20000 crore capex spend for the full year, underscoring its commitment to growth & modernisation.
