Tibnor, a subsidiary of Swedish steelmaker SSAB, has agreed to acquire Ovako Metals Oy Ab in Finland. The Finnish distribution company employs about 40 people & generated €40 million in revenue during 2024. The deal requires regulatory approval in Finland & targets completion in early 2026. This acquisition strengthens Tibnor's position as the leading steel distributor across Nordic & Baltic markets.
