Sülzle Stahlpartner has started supplying about 2,500 metric tons of stainless rebar for Helgoland port’s West Pier in the North Sea. The steel comes from Steeltec AG and contains over 12% chromium. It resists corrosion in harsh marine conditions. The pier repair will last until 2028. Sülzle will deliver from Bad Säckingen and plans production in Seelze.
