SSAB's Steely Spark Signals Specialised Supremacy
SSAB has started building a new quenching line at its site in Oxelösund, Sweden. The project is backed by an investment of three point three billion Swedish kronor, or around three hundred thirty-two million United States dollars. Quenching is a process that rapidly cools steel to make it exceptionally hard & strong. The new line will boost capacity for advanced products like Hardox & Armox by roughly one hundred thousand metric tons each year. These steels serve industrial, safety & defence uses. Production is expected to begin in the year two thousand thirty.
