Sohar Iron & Billets Company has signed a $26 million agreement alongside Danieli Centro Combustion for a new steel project at Oman's Sohar Industrial Port Area. The deal encompasses engineering, procurement, construction, & commissioning of advanced combustion technology & environmental systems. The project aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce emissions, & improve product quality through state-of-the-art equipment. The investment positions the Omani steel producer competitively in regional markets through technological modernization & environmental performance improvements.
