SMS group has won an order to build a sinter plant in Paradeep, Odisha. It will make about 5.75 million metric tons a year for JSW Utkal Steel. The plant uses EOS technology to cut emissions & fuel costs. A digital tool called Optimus Sinter will help steady production. Commissioning is planned for May 2028.
